Melissa has experienced many dance styles since she started taking dance classes in 2003. She has covered everything from ballet to pole dancing but she found a real passion for bellydance which has never left her. She regularly attends workshops with teachers from all over the world where she has obtained knowledge in many different props and styles and enjoys teaching both beginners and improvers. Melissa loves all styles of Middle Eastern dance but she is particularly fond of Egyptian, Tribal and Gothic.
She has been a member of Mersin, a professional belly dance troupe, for a year and half and also performs solo. She is also a member of Kamara, a tribe of like-minded women who perform pure American Tribal Style bellydance.

Melissa's glutes and drum choreo was great - we worked hard, but came out feeling all relaxed.
Melissa's drum choreo and glutes work was great - really interesting facts about the mechanical happenings of what happens when you exercise etc, as well as having an intense but really enjoyable workout!! Glutes definitely feel more toned now, and the 1 min drum choreo was really good fun, really made us work hard and i felt the better for it.

Kamara is a group of intelligent, fun loving women. Our members range from a truck driver to a biomedical scientist, all with the same passion - American Tribal Style Bellydance. Kamara only perform pure ATS as created by Director and Master Teacher of FatChanceBellyDance and their performances are always improvisational.
